NTA CUET UG 2026 – Overview
NTA Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026 exam city details have been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for undergraduate admissions across Central and participating universities. Applications were initially open from 03 January 2026 to 04 February 2026, with a re-open window in late February at cuet.nta.nic.in. The minimum qualification is Class 12 (Intermediate) passed or appearing from any recognized board in India. The base application fee is ₹1000 for General candidates, ₹900 for EWS/OBC, and ₹800 for SC/ST/PH candidates, with additional charges per extra subject. The entrance examinations are scheduled to be held from 11 May 2026 to 31 May 2026.
In the previous CUET UG 2025 cycle, over 14.9 lakh candidates registered for the test — the 2026 edition continues to be the largest single-window entrance exam for undergraduate university admissions in India.

There is no age limit set by NTA for appearing in the CUET UG 2026 exam. However, candidates must fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the respective university where they seek admission.
Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the NTA CUET UG 2026 entrance exam, candidates must have Passed or be Appearing in the 10+2 Intermediate Exam from any recognized Board in India. Students awaiting their final board results in 2026 are fully eligible to take the test.

The National Testing Agency has released the advanced intimation slip of the examination city to facilitate candidates in planning their travel before the actual admit cards are issued. Follow these steps to check your exam city:
- Visit Official Portal: Open the official NTA CUET UG website at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ or cuet.nta.nic.in.
- Find the City Intimation Link: On the homepage, look for the "Advance Intimation of Examination City for CUET (UG) - 2026" link.
- Login Credentials: Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the displayed security PIN.
- View Details: Your allocated Exam City and Date of Examination will be displayed on the screen.
- Save & Note: This is NOT the admit card. It is only an advance intimation. Note down your city and wait for the final admit card for your exact center address.

NTA CUET UG 2026 – Exam Syllabus & Paper Pattern
The CUET UG 2026 examination is structured into diverse sections: Section IA/IB (Languages), Section II (Domain-Specific Subjects), and Section III (General Test). The exam will be conducted in Hybrid mode (Pen & Paper/CBT) depending on the number of registrations for specific subjects.
