NTA National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 admit cards and exam city slips have been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admissions into MBBS, BDS, and other medical courses across India. Applications were open from 08 February 2026 to 11 March 2026 at neet.nta.nic.in. The minimum qualification is Class 12 Pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB). The application fee was ₹1700 for General candidates, ₹1600 for EWS/OBC, and ₹1000 for SC/ST/PH candidates. The national-level entrance exam is scheduled to be held on 03 May 2026 (Sunday).

NTA NEET UG 2026 – Eligibility Codes Explained
While filling out the application or appearing for counselling, candidates must identify their qualification status using specific NTA NEET eligibility codes:

| Code 01 | A candidate who is appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e., 12 Standard in 2026 whose result is awaited may apply and take up the said test but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of the first round of Counseling. |
| Code 02 | The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English. |

• Aadhaar Card Requirement: An Aadhaar Card is compulsory for the All India NTA NEET 2026 Examination.
• Photo Guidelines: Candidate's Live Photo & Clear Passport Size and 4x6 Size Photo must have a White Background with ears visible. The photo must include the Candidate's Name and the Date the photo was taken (must be taken after 01/01/2026).
NTA NEET UG 2026 Admit Card – How to Download
The National Testing Agency has released the exam city slips and admit cards for the upcoming 03 May 2026 entrance examination. Follow these steps to download your hall ticket:
- Visit Official Portal: Go to the official NTA NEET website at neet.nta.nic.in or click the direct link provided below.
- Locate Admit Card Link: On the homepage, find and click on the link titled "Download Admit Card for NEET (UG) - 2026".
- Enter Login Credentials: Input your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the security pin displayed on the screen.
- View Dashboard: Click the 'Submit' button to log in. Your admit card with exam center and timing details will appear.
- Download & Print: Download the PDF file. Take a clear, color printout as you must carry a physical copy to the exam center along with original ID proof.
