Jharkhand JHTET 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure they fulfill the following educational qualifications to apply for the respective levels.
Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)
- 10+2 Intermediate: Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/B.T.C.).
- NCTE Norms: 10+2 with 45% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed in accordance with NCTE Regulations 2002.
- B.El.Ed: 10+2 with 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Special Education: 10+2 with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation: Bachelor Degree and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year D.El.Ed.
Junior Level (Class 6 to 8)
- D.El.Ed with Graduation: Bachelor's Degree and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year D.El.Ed.
- B.Ed with Graduation: Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri.
- NCTE Norms (B.Ed): Bachelor's Degree with 45% marks and B.Ed as per NCTE Regulations.
- 4-Year Degree: 10+2 with 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed or 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- B.Ed (Special): Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks and a 1-year/2-year B.Ed (Special Education).
