CTET February 2026 – Overview
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 result has been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 30 March 2026. The examination was conducted on 07-08 February 2026, with a re-exam held on 01 March 2026 for specific centers. Candidates who appeared for Paper I (Primary Level) and Paper II (Junior Level) can now download their results using their roll number at ctet.nic.in.
CTET is conducted twice a year by CBSE to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in classes I to VIII.

CTET February 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V)
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education per NCTE 2002.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)
- Graduation and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed/appearing in B.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed per NCTE regulations.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in 4-year B.El.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed.
- Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks and passed/appearing in 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
