BPSSC Bihar Police Sub Inspector (SI) Mains Exam Date 2026 has been officially announced by the Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) for 1275 vacancies under Advt No. 05/2025. The Main Written Examination will be conducted in two shifts on 27 May 2026 (Wednesday). BPSSC Bihar Police SI Mains Admit Card 2026 – How to Download

The e-Admit Cards for the Mains Written Examination will be available on the BPSSC website from 13 May 2026. Admit cards will NOT be sent by post. Follow these steps to download:

1. Visit Official Website: Go to the BPSSC official portal at bpssc.bihar.gov.in.
2. Find Admit Card Link: Click on the 'Bihar Police' tab and look for the link to download the e-Admit Card for Mains Written Examination Advt No. 05/2025.
3. Enter Credentials: Log in using your Preliminary Exam Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth.
4. Download & Print: Download the admit card and take a clear, legible printout.

Mandatory Documents for the Exam Center

Candidates must carry the following documents to the exam center to secure entry:

• Printed copy of the e-Admit Card.
• One valid original Photo ID Proof (e.g., Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, or Passport).
• If the photograph on the e-Admit Card is not clear or missing, candidates must bring 2 recent passport-size photographs identical to the one uploaded during the application process.

Procedure for Duplicate Admit Card

Candidates who are unable to download their e-Admit Card from the website can obtain a duplicate admit card offline. They must visit the BPSSC Office at 5, Harding Road, Patna-800001 on 22 May 2026 between 10:00 AM and 05:00 PM. They must carry a photocopy of their application form acknowledgment receipt and a valid photo ID to obtain the duplicate at their own expense.

BPSSC SI Mains Exam 2026 – OMR Instructions & Specimen Copy

A specimen copy (Specimen Copy) of the instructions printed on the OMR Sheet has been provided by the Commission on its website. It is observed that candidates often make mistakes in filling out crucial details like Roll Number, Question Booklet Number, Paragraph Writing, and Signatures on the OMR sheet, leading to the cancellation of their candidature and rejection of their answer sheets.

To avoid such errors, candidates are strongly advised to:

• Read all important instructions related to the written exam provided on the website beforehand.
• Practice filling out the required information using the Specimen Copy of the OMR Sheet available online.
• Write the paragraph given in the question booklet in both Hindi and English in their own running handwriting in the space provided on the OMR sheet. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
• Ensure they sit in their designated seat matching the Roll Number, Name, and Photograph printed on the seat sticker. Sitting elsewhere will result in the cancellation of candidature.
• Use only a Blue/Black Ball Point Pen. Gel pens or pencils are strictly prohibited.
